Domain Settings is where you choose the web address your clients go to when they log in. It's completely yours and branded to your company. You set up your domain in the Setup Wizard, so you shouldn't need to change it here. Only change it afterwards if you want to, for example if you rebrand. If you do, remember to let your clients know the new address.

What is my domain? Your domain is the web address your clients type in to log in to your platform, for example lab.yourcompany.com. It's completely yours and branded to your company.
What should I know before I change my domain?
Put some thought into your new domain, because it's where your clients log in every day.
You can either:
- Use a subdomain of your website. We recommend something like **lab.yourcompany.com**.
- Buy a separate domain just for your platform, for example **yourcompany.online**
What do I need before I start?

You need to be able to log in to wherever your DNS records are managed. This is usually where you bought your domain, like GoDaddy or Namecheap, or a separate service like Cloudflare.
How do I check my subdomain isn't already being used?
Before you add a subdomain, type it into your browser, for example **lab.yourcompany.com**.
- If nothing loads, it's free to use.
- If it opens a website, it's already set up for something else. Choose a different subdomain, or your platform won't launch properly.
How do I add my custom domain?
1. Log in to wherever your DNS records are managed.
2. In **Agency Admin**, open **Domain Settings**.
3. In **Add Domain**, type your domain (for example, app.youragency.com), choose **Custom Domain**, and click **Add Domain**.
4. Copy each DNS record shown using the **copy buttons**.
5. Add those records at your DNS provider.
7. Wait 5 minutes before clicking on verify. You can check whether your records have updated at dnschecker.org.
Why isn't my domain verifying?
Usually it just means your DNS records haven't finished updating yet, so the most common fix is to wait.
Before contacting support, check these:
- Each DNS record matches exactly. Use the copy buttons rather than typing records yourself. Small typos are a common cause of delays.
- You've allowed enough time. It's usually minutes, but can take up to 72 hours. Check your records' status at dnschecker.org.
- The records are on the right domain in your DNS provider's account.
- Any proxy feature is turned off for these records, such as Cloudflare's orange cloud icon.
- You're not expecting email records here.Email is set up and validated on the Email Settings page, not in Domain Settings.
Common questions
Do I have to use my own domain?
No. Your free subdomain is live from day one, branded, with SSL. A custom domain is optional, and you can add one at any time.
Why is my domain still pending?
DNS can take up to 72 hours to update. Check each record matches exactly, turn off any proxy setting, wait 5 minutes... then click Validate again.
My website domain shows as verified, but my email doesn't. Why?
Your website and email use different records and are set up on different pages. Set up your email in **Email Settings** and validate it there.
