Do I need auto-top-up?
Campaign type | Auto-top-up needed? |
One-off | No |
Continual (weekly or monthly) | Yes |
If you only want to test Lead Hacker with a small number of leads, you don't need to set this up. Use a one-off campaign instead.
How to switch it on
Find the Auto-top-up section and click Manage. It shows as Inactive until you turn it on.
Enable auto-top-up.
Set your trigger threshold. This is the balance that triggers a top-up, for example $100.
Set your top-up amount. This is how much gets added each time, for example $500.
Click Save.
What those settings mean
With a trigger threshold of $100 and a top-up amount of $500, every time your balance drops below $100, $500 is added automatically.
You can change both numbers at any time. Pick a top-up amount that comfortably covers at least one full period of your continual campaign, so it doesn't stall.
After you save
Go back to your campaign: Lead Hacker → B2B or B2C → Financials. The Continual option is now available.
When you set up a continual campaign, the bottom of the Financials screen shows when an automatic top-up will happen for that campaign and how much will be added, so you can check it before you start.
"I can't select Continual"
Auto-top-up is most likely still switched off. Follow the steps above, save, then go back to Financials.
